Bendigo Health Care Group along with Bendigo Radiology Group have been successful in the recent round of Medicare licences for MRI services.  The new MRI will be a vital addition to the hospital and services for the region.  It will mean that many patients who now travel to Melbourne for specialist treatment will now be able to stay in Bendigo.  It is hoped that the new machine will be installed and operational by January 2006.
