Bendigo Radiology has recently commissioned a new State of the Art Toshiba Aquilion 64 Slice CT Scanner to be located within the Radiology Department at St John of God Hospital, Lily Street, Bendigo. The new scanner provides much higher resolution than previously available while also reducing examination times by up to 50%. The new Toshiba scanner features the largest patient scan bed available on the market, and improved patient lighting to assist hearing impaired and paediatric patients. The Toshiba Aquilion 64 will allow a full range of non invasive CT angiography examinations to be performed in Bendigo. The new CT scanner further enhances the comprehensive medical imaging facilities available in Bendigo.
