MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST (MRI Senior)

Are you a Senior MRI radiographer interested in raising a brand-new MRI department at a private radiology group in Hamilton, regional Victoria?  If you are a motivated, skilled MRI radiographer with great communication and mentoring skills we’d love for you to join our team.

The team at Bendigo Radiology work hard and strive to enjoy the delivery of expert diagnostic imaging and patient care in our practices within Hamilton, Bendigo and its surrounds.  You’ll operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment; work with highly motivated and enthusiastic colleagues and be provided with opportunities for professional development.

Standard working arrangements are Monday to Friday with weekend and on-call requirements.

Hamilton is a beautiful regional city with a rich history located near the Henty Wine Region and Grampians and Napier National Parks.

The successful applicant must provide evidence of:

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent
• Eligibility for A.S.M.I.R.T Statement of Compliance
• National Registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist
• Victorian Department of Health Radiation Use Licence
• Evidence of CPD in line with registration requirements
• Clinical experience working as a radiographer in MRI
• Willingness to accept senior level responsibility
• Completion of or working towards a Postgraduate Qualification in MRI
• Experience working in a tertiary health service would be advantageous
• Experience working in an MRI facility with a complex and diverse case load would also be beneficial.
• Hold a current Working with Children check and Police check
